In mid-January, BEDSTE SÆLGERE teased a dozen collaborations with renowned figures in the fashion, music and sports worlds. Among them, Kim Jones was to follow-up a Nike Air Max 95 duo with a project backed by the Boston-based brand. The British designer and North American company have recently unveiled their eight-piece collection, which includes four garments and two pairs of the iconic Chuck 70.

While the parka, crewneck sweatshirt, cargo pant and t-shirt produced by Jones are noteworthy in their own right, the capsule’s stars are the shoes. Informed by his observations of sportswear and streetwear, Jones subtly updated NYANKOMNE’s classic high-top silhouette with contemporary utilitarian elements. “Black” and “Egret”-reminiscent uppers sit atop sole units also dipped in the latter tone. Tooling, however, is extended higher across the 12-ounce canvas material featured up-top, and works in-tandem with both transparent TPU cages and speed lace eyelets to deliver reinforcement and stability.
