KHARTOUM Solde Femme Nike Air Presto BR Rose , April 29 (Xinhua) -- The world football governing body FIFA on Saturday suspended the elections of Sudan Football Association (SFA), which were scheduled to be conducted Sunday.


"Today we have received a letter from FIFA on delaying the elections for six months. A fact-finding delegation from FIFA will arrive after a month to get acquainted with the statute of the SFA," Mohamed Sid Ahmed, an official of SFA Solde Nike Air Presto Qs Verte , said in a statement Saturday.


"The FIFA based its decision on a letter from SFA and what it has monitored of a political and security intervention, besides a tape from a TV program showing a candidate for SFA chairmanship admitting that he was candidate from the President of the Republic and the State," he added.


The FIFA's letter stated that the SFA would be suspended if the elections failed to be conducted next April 30 according to FIFA regulations and laws.


In 2010 the FIFA re-conducted the SFA elections because of intervention of government authorities.


The SFA was established in 1936, where it joined the FIFA in 1948 and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in 1957.


National football associations enjoy the protection of FIFA which prevents government interventions in sports affairs.

Japanese police said on Wednesday they have arrested a couple whose 33-year-old daughter froze to death in a tiny room where they had confined her for years because they believed she had a form of mental illness that made her violent.


Western Japan's Osaka Prefectural Police Department said Airi Kakimoto's body was found in a state of extreme malnutrition after her parents reported the death on Saturday. She was 145 cm (4.76 ft) tall and weighed just 19 kg (42 lb).

Police said Yasutaka Kakimoto, 55, and Yukari Kakimoto Femme Nike Air Presto QS Rouge Blanche Solde , 53, had confessed that they fed their daughter only once a day and kept her in a 3-square-metre room for some 15 years.

People with mental and physical disabilities and their families can still suffer stigma and shame in Japan despite some changes in public attitudes.

About 10 surveillance cameras were installed outside the single-storey home, which was surrounded by a 2-metre high fence, police said.

Chief judicial magistrate Bhubhaskar Yadav issued the non-bailable arrest warrant against the woman minister for failing to appear before his court in a defamation case for nearly a year.


The court has also asked Bhopal's top cop to execute the warrant within seven days and present the minister before it by Oct. 19.


The case was filed by former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and a senior office-bearer of India's main opposition Congress party， Digvijay Singh， in 2003.


Singh had filed the defamation case against Bharti for levelling "false allegations" of him being involved in a financial scam and terming him as the most corrupt "Chief Minister of India."
